Missing Buffalo August 22 2014

Madison Prostrollo
Has anyone seen our missing buffalo?

He ran away..
Did you find the buffalo??? Hope it is in one piece!!!

Heading north on 81 this morning
He stopped by our school in Lake Preston!!
Come back, come back Mr. Buffalo!!!

Well, SOMEONE has to say this:  "Oh, give me a home, where the buffalo roam."

Nice! Today I was explaining to a guest at PV how to get some where in Madison, I said when you get to the big buffalo turn left! He looked at me like I was nuts, now I know why! But he just said ok and walked out. Hope the big buffalo finds his way home!

Weekend Twins getaway August 15

Family outing to see the Twin's play; they happened to win the game 4-1 vs the Cleveland Indians.
Went to splash pad, the locks of the Mississipi river, Kevanna went to a wedding Saturday.
Stayed at Days Inn St Paul, took the light rail to Target field Sunday afternoon.  Found the Organ lady!
Long trip home, the kids were troupers and traveled well.
Anthony blew a tire and needed to get it replaced Sunday morning.  Thankful they could find a place open to help out!

August 2015

Nasty week....
Tuesday (August 5) I got a bad UTI again but managed to work and get to Howard and back.  Cipro 500 mg   bid for 7 days from MPoppens.  Didn't feel great all week.
Saturday Abby called and said she was having terrible RLQ pain and nausea she went to the ER, I started out to Watertown (10pm) but then Anthony said Tom and Amy were headed back to stay with the girls.  No more baby Brown :( .  Sadness....
Early Sunday morning Terry started in with a kidney stone.  He did make it to church at 0630 to turn on the AC.  I went for music then came home...by then he was feeling better.
That's all
That's enough!......

July 2015

we went to Gordon and Kathy's Lake Kampeska home for food, family, food, fun.
Boating and more food.  Smoke from Canada made the day hazey and interesting.

The flags were up at the court house! Love seeing them!

June 24 2015. Fun with Mary Hunter

Mary invited us to her lovely home for a reunion of sorts; since we never see her much after her "retirement" it was great to get together for a few laughs!
we celebrated Lynn's birthday with Tiaras and selfies.  And delicious carrot cake!

June 2015 Dad comes for a visit

Since T&C needed a vacation, Dad came here to visit for a few days.  Initially it was to be Friday, then changed to Saturday... Gordon called and asked where the keys to the house were as he picked Dad up and wanted to stay at Dad's house.  He bought groceries, changed the sheets, and plugged the fridge back in.  Saturday was a great day, and Gordon thought maybe getting Dad back there to his own home would be the answer to Dad's forgetfulness.
But Sunday was a different day.  "He didn't know where he was and it took 4 hours to settle him down."  Think big brother thought that he could leave Dad alone and all would be well, then found out that wasn't  such a good idea.
So we met half way at Arlington and Dad came home with me.  The kids were there and planned to stay overnight but Mnason wasn't feeling good and neither was Kj so they took off.
Monday I trimmed Dad's toenails and took him for a haircut.  The barber shop was a dive but the barber did a half way decent job and only charged $10.  We drove out to Lake Herman.  Watched all of the Twin's game and dad went to bed at 10pm.  With some naps scattered through the day.

Tuesday he slept til 0830 then got up; I asked if he wanted to shower and change clothes: "No"  Do you want to eat breakfast? "No."  Do you want to go back to bed:  "Yes"; then slept til 1230 and after eating lunch thanked me for serving him a good breakfast.
Then he was ready to go home.
Time marches on.  A bittersweet time with Dad. Waiting for him to be awake and a few good games of Rummy Cube (he won most of the time!)

Selfie with Dad.
Wednesday Dad was up at 0300, "just wanted a coke, is that OK?"  and he chose Diet Coke; that was probably a new taste for him!
