Kj: If you're sad and you know it say, "Happy!"
L: "Happy!"
Kj: If you're sad and you know it say, "Happy!"
L: "Happy!"
Kj: If you're sad and you know it then your face will surely show it if you're sad and you know it say, "Happy!"

Kj might be just a bit jealous of Abby Brown...because L will say Mommy, Daddy, and Abby, but no other names. Kj: "L, pretend my name is Abby. Say, 'Abby, can you help me.' 'Abby, will you play with me.' 'Abby, I love you.'"

Kjersten finds a little Christmas snow at Gordons 2011
Christmas 2010 @ Gordon's
Kevin’s verse
Micah 6:8
And what does the LORD require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God.

The Message (MSG)
8But he's already made it plain how to live, what to do,
what God is looking for in men and women.
It's quite simple: Do what is fair and just to your neighbor,
be compassionate and loyal in your love,
And don't take yourself too seriously!
  take God seriously.

The Frog Poem

Two frogs fell into a can of cream,
Or so I've heard it told.
The sides of the can were shiny and steep,
The cream was deep and cold.

"Oh, what's the use?" croaked number one.
"Tis fate, no help's around.
Good-bye, my friend! Good-bye, sad world!"
And weeping still, he drowned.

But number two, of sterner stuff,
Dog-paddled in surprise.
The while he wiped his creamy face,
And dried his creamy eyes.

"I'll swim awhile at least," he said,
Or so I've heard he said;
"It really wouldn't help the world,
If one more frog were dead."

An hour or two he kicked and swam,
Not once he stopped to mutter,
But kicked and kicked and swam and kicked,
Then hopped out, via butter!

New Bikes!

July 9 2011
Here is a picture of our new bikes that we are getting used to riding around Madison; and Sioux Falls!
And one more of L; Grandma Sandy Claus (Ferber) has surely been good to the girls as she cleans out Caymen's outgrown "stuff"!
